What is the minimum contract period?

We don’t require minimum contractual periods, but just by the nature of our subscription plans, your first term is generally 30 days.  After that, we believe in working for you month after month, and you find you don’t need our services, you may cancel your service.

What is the cost to create a website from top to bottom?

The price plans you see listed are for our Content Management.

Naturally, a brand new website is an independent project and our quotes will fluctuate depending on your budget, the number of features requested, whether we’ll be using our own themes and plug-ins, or whether you need a custom theme, and more.

The quote also depends on how much of the ground work has already been done.  Such as registering the domain, securing a web host, enabling WordPress and more.

We’ve prepared websites ranging from $500.00 to $3500.00.   Tell us about your project and we’ll give you a quote.

I have multiple sites, do you offer a group rate?

Yes, we do.  Let us know how many website you have and we’ll quote a group rate discount.

Can I upgrade my plan after signing up?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time after signing up. If your website is growing rapidly and you find you need content management more frequently, just let us know.

What is your refund policy?

Our goal has always been to create an online presence that makes you happy. If you are not satisfied with the service, simply send us an email.  We’ll cancel your subscription plan and/or refund any applicable fees.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express, as well as PayPal. After signing up for a weekly or monthly plan, your credit card is auto-charged each month on a recurring basis until you decide to cancel or upgrade your plan.  If you elect to use PayPal, you’ll use a subscription button which will also auto-charge or debit your PayPal account.

Can I use your themes and plug-ins and tools on my blog at WP.com?

Unfortunately WordPress.com does not allow the use of custom themes and many of the tools and resources we use. If you would like to use a custom theme of any kind, you will need to purchase a hosting account and install the software platform from WordPress.org. If you are looking for great WordPress hosting, we can make recommendations, and, help you set it up.

Some months I don't have any issues, and others I am plagued with problems. How many times can I ask for help?

Every time WordPress rolls out an update, and plug-in authors follow suit (we hope), you’ll find there are a host of upgrades and tweaks we  need to address.   That means in some months, you’ll get more service from us than in others, when business is humming along nicely.

When you are adding more content than average, say for holiday or other seasonal events, you may send as many content management questions or support requests as you find necessary.   If any of these requests are not covered by your plan or within our scope of services, or we estimate it will take us more  time than a typical session (or cumulative sessions) allow, we’ll let you know and explore your options with you.

Do you backup my site?

The short answer is, yes.

The long answer is, it depends on a variety of factors.  Depending on your web hosting arrangement, many automatically back up your website and database on a schedule.

But, for several of our clients, we prefer to install and use an on-demand back-up system that is more user friendly than a web-host database backup.  With an on-demand back-up systems, which are generally very low cost (average $5-7 per month), you can easily schedule on-demand, daily or weekly backups, and, restore that data with just a few clicks when disaster strikes.

For the cost of a good beer or cappuccino, you can have peace of mind, every day.

Where are you located for in-person services?

Our headquarters is located in Sacramento, California, but many of our clients are from outside the area.  If you need in-person services, we’ll be happy to assist you in finding an expert in your area.
